Kansas School for the Deaf completed: 19xx Shaw Hofstra + Associates was selected to provide interior design and furniture selection services for Emery Hall, a new building on the campus of the Kansas State School for the Deaf. New spaces included early childhood and elementary classrooms, library, gymnasium and multipurpose rooms. Also included in the building are offices for related services, a hotel-like suite for visiting parents and living quarters for 36 students. The resulting space is a cheerful home-like environment for the children and their families. |
